Clwyd West MS Darren Millar has thanked National Lottery players after learning that more community groups in his constituency have been awarded grants from the National Lottery Community Fund.
Darren was pleased to hear that from December 2023 to the end of March this year, £665,604 has been awarded to community projects in Clwyd West.
Examples of projects that have received funding are Together for Colwyn Bay Limited, who have received £9,800, and North Wales Crusaders Foundation who have received £19,746.
Welcoming the news, Darren said:
“I am thrilled that once again community projects in Clwyd West are benefitting from the National Lottery Community Fund.
“This funding is made possible thanks to National Lottery players, so I would like to thank everyone who plays the National Lottery.
“The Community Fund award grants to grassroots projects, as well as making larger awards to tackle big social issues such as improving mental health, rural poverty and tackling homelessness.
“For £665,604 to be awarded in Clwyd West in just a three month period is very welcome news indeed and will enable these community projects to continue the fantastic work that they do for people of all ages.”
