Clwyd West Assembly Member Darren Millar has welcomed the fact that community groups in his constituency have received a slice of funding from the National Lottery over the summer.
Two groups in Clwyd West have received a total £7,425 of funding from the Big Lottery Fund between June and August.
Trem Y Foel Tenants Association in Denbighshire have received £4,650 and will use the grant to provide improved facilities for the community through the Trem Y Foel Community Centre.
Meanwhile, Menter Iaith, Abergele will deliver a series of activities for school pupils and families to promote the Welsh language in the local Community with their grant of £2,775, which will fund transport costs, sessional worker fees, a silent disco system, and administration and marketing costs.
