Clwyd West AM Darren Millar has thanked Arriva for agreeing to ensure that all their buses stop at the North Wales Business Park in Abergele in the future.

Darren contacted Arriva after receiving an email from a local resident who was concerned that staff and visitors to Ty Cariad, the dementia care home on the Park, were being inconvenienced at the weekends due to buses not routinely stopping there.

This week he received a response from the bus company stating that as part of their planned changes and improvements to all of their services on Sunday 31st December 2017, all buses will be stopping at the Business Park.

Darren said:

“I am very pleased that Arriva have taken on board the concerns of residents and will be implementing the requested changes. This will make a huge difference to bus users who frequent the business park and I would like to thank Arriva for listening to the concerns of local residents.

“They provide an excellent service across North Wales and these proposed changes will enhance that further.”
