An array of topics were discussed this week when budding politicians at a Denbigh school met up with their local AM.
Clwyd West Assembly Member Darren Millar visited St Brigid's to speak to Year 6 pupils.
While at the school, Darren spoke about his role as an Assembly Member and answered questions from the pupils on a range of issues from Donald Trump's recent election success to recycling and hospital services.
He said:
“It is always a pleasure to visit St Brigid’s. The Year 6 pupils are a great bunch and showed a real interest in politics and current affairs. They asked some very interesting questions about my role as an Assembly Member, politics in general and on a number of local issues.
“I would like to thank Faye Davies Moore, a Sixth Former at St Brigid's, for organising the visit. Faye is applying to study politics at University and has created a Pupil Parliament Year 6. During my visit I got to meet the class Prime Minister, Lucy Spencer Jones.”
