Clwyd West AM Darren Millar joined youngsters from a Kinmel Bay school today in a clean-up operation as part of Keep Wales Tidy’s annual Clean Coasts Week.
The Ysgol Maes Owen pupils and Darren spent the morning picking up litter at Kinmel Bay Beach.
Darren said:
“We have a wonderful coastline here in North Wales and it is vital that we look after it and ensure that it is kept looking its best for everyone to enjoy during the summer months.
“The youngsters were a great bunch and I enjoyed spending the morning with them. It was heartening to see them working so hard to protect their local environment.”
