Clwyd West AM Darren Millar has praised a group which is ensuring the voices of the young people of Wales are heard following a visit to their new office in Colwyn Bay.
Funky Dragon, a peer-led organisation which provides opportunities for young people up to the age of 25 to give their views on issues that affect them, particularly by the Welsh Assembly Government, officially opened their new office on Friday.
Darren, who attended the opening, said:
“For over 10 years now Funky Dragon has been working closely with the National Assembly for Wales and youth forums run by local councils enabling it to influence decision making at different political levels. The young people involved are doing fantastic work and I am very pleased that they now have a decent office space here in North Wales to enable them to continue ensuring that the views of our young people are heard by those in power.”
