Clwyd West AM Darren Millar took to the waters yesterday at the highest sailing club in North Wales, Llyn Brenig.
Darren enjoyed a trip on aboard the ‘Cream Cracker’ when he attended the sailing club’s open day.
Darren said:
"My family had a fantastic time at Llyn Brenig Sailing Club on Bank Holiday Monday and we weren’t the only ones. The place was heaving with families having picnics and having fun on the water. Over 100 people who attended the open day tried sailing for the first time and many new members were added to the club’s rolls.
"The club caters for people of all ages and starts teaching children to sail from 8 years old. It also supports disabled sailing.
"It is in an absolutely fantastic location, a jewel in the North Wales crown, and as I would recommend it to any family looking for a fun day out."
The sailing club are keen to attract new members. Anyone wanting further information should visit
