Clwyd West MS Darren Millar is encouraging people living in Rhos on Sea to respond to the public consultation on the relocation of the Post Office.
Llandrillo yn Rhos Post Office is being relocated to 106 Penrhyn Avenue and Post Office Ltd are currently undertaking a six-week public consultation on access to the proposed premises and inviting customers to feedback on the following:
- How easy is it to get to the proposed new location?
- Are the new premises easy for you to get into and are they easily accessible once inside?
- Are there any other local community issues which you believe could be affected by or affect the proposed Post Office move?
- If the move were to proceed, is there anything we could do to make it easier for customers?
Darren said:
“I know many people are concerned about the relocation of the Post Office and the fact that it will no longer be in the town centre.
“I have outlined the worries people have regarding access to the new premises in my response to the Post Office and would urge others to do the same.
“The Post Office are keen to hear your views. It is vitally important that they know and understand the impact of this move on all users, so I therefore urge people to take the time to respond to the consultation.”
The premises is currently undergoing a refurbishment and the store name will be changed to Premier Store.
The relocation of Llandrillo Yn Rhos Post Office will enable the Post Office to maintain a Post Office service to their customers within the local community.
The consultation for this branch closes on 20 September. Further information is available on the consultation hub: LLandrillo Yn Rhos LL28 4PS – 443614 - Post Office - Citizen Space (postofficeviews.co.uk)
