Darren Millar Member of the Welsh Parliament for Clwyd West and Sam Rowlands, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, have praised the work of Llysfaen Community and Recreational Association.
Darren and Sam recently visited the grounds where members are creating a new orchard.
Darren said:
“I was pleased to have the opportunity to visit the grounds of Llysfaen Community and Recreational Association once again to see for myself how the area is being developed.
“Members and volunteers work extremely hard to continue to add to the many services they already offer with regular events. It just shows what can be achieved when a community comes together and I was more than happy to lend a helping hand by planting a rare Welsh apple tree in the new orchard to mark St David’s Day.”
Sam said:
“It was great to visit the site and meet with members and volunteers who are clearly passionate about the association and improving and adding more facilities for the community.
“I was really impressed to see people getting involved and showing a real interest in their community and to hear about their future plans to develop more use of the all-weather sports pitch.
“It is an excellent facility run by the people of Llysfaen for the community and I really enjoyed my visit.”
