Clwyd West AM Darren Millar was pleased to attend the official opening of a community gallery, Bay Gallery last week.

After finding success in a temporary home in the former KFC restaurant in Colwyn Bay, the Bay Gallery were thrilled to officially open in their new permanent premises in the Bayview Shopping Centre.

The gallery operates at the heart of the community by exhibiting local arts and crafts and signifies the real success of Colwyn Bay regeneration.

Speaking after the launch Darren said,:

"Bay Gallery is a fantastic exhibition space and the launch event provided a showcase of local art talent.

"I was delighted to meet the committed members and volunteers at the event. They are clearly dedicated and passionate about providing accessible art within the community.

"I wish Bay Gallery every success for the future. I am confident that the gallery will be a feature on the cultural landscape of Colwyn Bay for many years to come."
