Commenting on the accusation made to Labour Health Minister by the former Chair of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board Mark Polin, that Eluned Morgan misled the Senedd over the commissioning of the Ernst & Young report, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for North Wales, Darren Millar MS said:

“It is a matter of concern that there are two versions of events about the commissioning of this crucial report.

“The Health Minister needs to either immediately correct the record if she has made inaccurate and misleading statements or provide the evidence to substantiate her claims.

“It is essential that we get to the truth about what has been happening behind the scenes so that we can finally get to grips with the failures in the NHS in North Wales.”
