Pupils from two schools in Denbighshire had an opportunity to meet the Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Clwyd West MS Darren Millar, when they paid a visit to the Senedd this week.
On Wednesday, Darren met two groups of schoolchildren at the Senedd - one from Ysgol Borthyn in Ruthin, and the other from Ysgol Bro Famau in Llanarmon yn Ial.
They were on a visit for an education session to learn more about the Welsh Parliament.
Darren met them by the Senedd steps and spoke to them about his job as an MS and what the Senedd does.
Speaking after the visit, Darren said:
“I always enjoy welcoming schoolchildren from my constituency to the Senedd.
“Wednesday’s visitors were an enthusiastic bunch and seemed to really enjoy their visit. They showed a keen interest in Welsh politics.
“It is so important that we engage our young people in how our democracy works and these education visits to the Senedd are an ideal way of doing that."
