Clwyd West AM Darren Millar has presented a prestigious award to an Abergele primary school.
Darren recently visited Ysgol Glan Gele to celebrate its success with the NACE (National Association for Able Children in Education) Challenge Award.
The NACE Challenge Award is given for high quality work by the whole school, teachers and governors, in challenging all pupils, including those with high abilities, to achieve their best.
Darren said:
“All staff members at Ysgol Glan Gele should be extremely proud to receive this prestigious award. Achieving the NACE Challenge Award is a long term commitment to providing challenge in all aspects of school life and Ysgol Glan Gelehas continued to work hard to achieve this having tremendously positive outcomes for pupils.
“It was an honour to be invited to join in the celebrations at the school and to present them with the award. Congratulations Ysgol Glan Gele, keep up the fantastic work!”
