Clwyd West Assembly Member Darren Millar joined children, staff and a special guest at an Abergele nursery last week to help them celebrate a special anniversary.
Cylch Meithrin Abergele, a Welsh medium pre-school facility, marked its 50th birthday on Friday and Darren was on hand to cut the anniversary cake and meet children, staff and Dewin, Clych Meithrin’s mascot.
Darren said:
"It was great to join Cylch Meithrin Abergele to mark this special occasion.
“The Clych operates in the grounds of Ysgol Glan Morfa, promoting the education and development of children from two years old to school age.
“The staff do a wonderful job, enabling the children to learn through play and socialising, with special empashis on developing their Welsh language skills.
“I had a fantastic time celebrating with the children, and Dewin of course, and we all enjoyed tucking into the tasty anniversary cake.”
